To begin with, this is a German musical project that was created in 1990 by Michel Cretu. The project has released 8 studio albums, several compilations and 12 singles. Michel Cretu received an academic education in music and by the seventies was already known in the music world. This man founded the Enigma project and soon released his debut album, MCMXC a.D., as well as the single Sadeness (Part I). This project combines Gregorian chants, hypnotic music, innovative active use of samples and memorable video clips.
