Continue a series of winter compositions and composers. "Sorceress-winter in the work of artists, composers and poets"

home / Quarreling

The beauty of nature at all times excited the minds of poets, artists, composers. Each of them created works, singing the bright juicy summer, colorful autumn or gentle spring. The snow-white beauty of winter did not go unnoticed.

Russian composers also sang of winter in their opuses. For example, the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky has the First Symphony "Winter Dreams", created at the very beginning of his career, and the ballet "The Nutcracker", with which the great musician ended his journey. One of the brightest numbers in the ballet "The Nutcracker" is the "Waltz of the Snow Flakes".

The music of the outstanding Russian composer Georgy Sviridov, created for the film based on the story by A.S. Pushkin "Snowstorm". The orchestral suite, compiled by the author in 1974 from the music for this film, brought him popular love.

No less famous are other works devoted to the change of seasons. Composer A. Glazunov, who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, created the ballet The Four Seasons.

One of the key works dedicated to winter by the Russian composer Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov is the opera The Snow Maiden. The tragedy of the plot is revealed through the leitmotifs of the heroes of the work.

The change of seasons is a theme that has attracted the attention of musicians from time immemorial. Renowned composers sing of the true beauty of winter in their creations. Along with famous Russian composers, the world-famous foreign masters Antonio Vivaldi, Joseph Haydn, Claude Debussy, Franz Schubert turned to this topic.

So, for example, Joseph Haydn, an Austrian composer of the 18th century, wrote an oratorio (a major work for choir, soloists and orchestra) “The Seasons”.

In the work of the French impressionist Claude Debussy there is a Prelude called "Steps in the Snow", a vocal work "Winter". The originality of the presentation of musical material does not leave listeners indifferent.

Austrian composer of the late 18th - early 19th centuries. Franz Schubert also dedicated a cycle of vocal miniatures with piano accompaniment "Winter Journey" to winter. Critics consider this collection to be the pinnacle of the composer's work, in which he revealed the brightest possibilities of vocal performance.

The concert of the Italian composer, violinist, Antonio Vivaldi "Winter" is one of the most famous works of classical music. As you know, the four violin concertos of Vivaldi from the cycle "The Seasons" have a literary component - sonnets, in which the composer gave the program for this cycle; in addition, the notes contain author's remarks explaining what the music is about.

Naturally, this program should be understood not so much literally as symbolically. Here is what is said in the verses of Antonio Vivaldi (translated from Italian by V. Rabei):

WINTER

A frosty surface spreads the road,

And a man with cold feet

Trampling the path, chattering teeth,

Runs to keep warm.

How happy is the one whom warmth and light

Native hearth sheltered from the winter cold -

Let the snow and the wind there - outside ...

Walking on ice is dangerous, but even in this

For youth fun; carefully

They walk along the slippery, unreliable edge;

Unable to resist, they fall from a swing

On thin ice - and away they run from fear.

Snow covers swirl in a whirlwind;

As if escaping from prison,

Head winds are raging, in battle

Ready to rush against each other.

... Hard winter, but the joy of the moment

Sometimes soften her harsh face.

The Four Seasons reflects the moods and feelings of all the months of the year. All this predetermined the recognition of the cycle as an unsurpassed masterpiece. The end of winter for Vivaldi is also a harbinger of a new spring. With music and a sonnet, the composer claims: "winter gives us its pleasures." Therefore, despite the sadness of the cold period, there is no pessimism either in music or in poetry.

Perhaps, having peered into the "winter" canvases of artists, and having listened to the "winter motives" of composers and poets, you will be inspired and create your own little "winter masterpiece"? Let me wish you good luck and inspiration in your creative field!

Theme: "Music of Winter"

What kind of winter did you imagine while listening to poetry?

What sounds can be heard in winter?(The creak of snow, the sound of ice, the sound of the wind, the howl of a blizzard)

What colors can paint winter?(Glittering, sunny, gray, soft)

Raise your hand those who love winter?

Now look how the artists depicted winter.

(Slide show depicting winter. Slides 3,4,5,6)

The paintings are captivating with their breadth, scope, joyful flowering of colors. The sky is green, with golden and pink clouds. Trees are dressed in fur coats and hats.

Artists masterfully depicted the transitional state of nature. Loose, whitish-gray snow, dark brown puddles, lead-gray sky, brown-gray tone well conveys the warmed humid air, the atmosphere of a thaw. Small houses, rickety fences - all this against the backdrop of winter colors, winter.

One and the same time of the year, the artists depicted in different ways. Why do you think?

Depicting this or that state of nature, the artist thereby expresses his attitude. He doesn't just blindly copy what he sees. Through the picture, he conveys his inner state.

What means of expression did the artists use?

At first glance, nature in winter is monotonous, all snow and cold. But no, then a crackling frost will strike, then a thaw ...

And what a different winter day, now sparkling, sunny, sonorous, now grey, soft, quiet.

Perhaps winter is the most magical time of the year. She gives us the most beloved holidays, the most cheerful amusements, the most interesting fairy tales in long mysterious evenings.

Before we start listening to music, I want to remind you that music is a special country, not everyone can enter its wonderful magical world. Only to the most attentive listener will she open her fabulous gates. Our guests are guys from the music school.

3. Everyone hears winter differently. This is how, through music, Antonio Vivaldi painted this time of year. The composer wrote an epigraph to his work:

A frosty surface spreads the road,
And a man with cold feet.

Trampling the path, chattering teeth,
Runs to keep warm.

The first part of A. Vivaldi's concerto from the cycle "The Seasons" "Winter" sounds. (Slide 9)

The beauty of nature, the change of seasons, and each of them - autumn, winter, spring and summer - is unique, special. They have always been a source of inspiration for poets, musicians, artists! This is how different people saw and depicted the same season in different ways. The musicians also felt the same season - winter - in different ways and expressed their feelings through music.

Performance of the song "A Christmas tree was born in the forest"

Let's remember the song about winter together with you and try to express our attitude towards it. Performance of the song "A Christmas tree was born in the forest."

Lesson summary.

Every person is an artist at heart. The beauty of life, touching the human soul, gives birth to a melody or a picture in it. Using musical colors, composers create musical pictures, poets draw their images of winter in rhyme, artists draw their own, so we find similarities and differences in the works. All creativity, works of art are the creation of human hands.

What means of expression did poets, artists, composers use? Name the common ones.

What works about winter sounded today in the lesson?

The influence of music on a person 06.01.2015

Dear readers, today I have an article for the soul on my blog. I haven’t written on this topic for a long time, I just want to give you a New Year and Christmas mood. And it will be music. Something that is always dear to me and very close. I hope you will give yourself and your loved ones this state and mood.

Probably, for each of us, New Year and Christmas are special holidays. I congratulate everyone on the upcoming Christmas and want to wish you only warmth and Love, what each of us wants from the heart and for the soul. Don't forget to fill it with something beautiful.

On Christmas Eve, you especially want to touch the winter fairy tale, feel with all your heart the atmosphere of your favorite “new-old-New Year” holidays. The obligatory program was completed - Russian salad, fireworks, champagne, a night in front of the TV, breakfasts, more like dinners in time - everything was worked out conscientiously. Now is the time to step back a little from the festive bustle and think about something of your own - deep and cherished.

I don’t know how you are with the weather for the holidays, we weren’t too lucky this year with it, the frost didn’t indulge in fluffy snow, we didn’t draw patterns on the windows. How can you help yourself to tune in to the New Year wave? Music ... It is able to light the Christmas stars in our souls. I want to give you a fabulous, woven from the sounds of music, winter mood.

It is difficult, of course, to choose the most-most expensive. In all the articles I shared with you the New Year mood. We've heard a lot already. There are insanely many bright, talentedly written and performed musical works on the theme of winter. Both classical and modern. Therefore, without claiming to be perfect in choosing the best, I will offer what I myself love very much.

Let's listen to the music of winter, feel it. Probably, each snowflake can be given its own note, and if you listen to any person, then we can hear the Music of his heart. It will be Music of Love. I want everyone to take care of this music.

Music winter snowflake flute
ringing with watercolor silver
And lie down sad in a snowdrift
playing with the breeze in no hurry

Waiting for another to wait in vain
in royal sparks the bell is dashing
In the top three going to the remote
white verse will fly to the edge

Through the forest limit and in the fresh hoarfrost
twig accidentally shakes
Smiling with wool, the guest will shudder
the gray wolf sings happy

Music winter snowflake flute
ringing with watercolor silver
Royal fluff in the forest turns white
he orders to write with a holy sail.

Vivaldi. Winter. Cycle "Seasons".

Let's start with Vivaldi. 3 parts of the cycle, and all are so different. The piercing cold in the first part, the wonderful gentle aria in the second part and the joys of winter - skating in the third part - all this can be easily imagined while listening to music. I strongly advise you to find time and listen to all the parts, because usually we are familiar with only the first part of the cycle.

The words of Vivaldi himself, anticipating the music:

Frozen under the fresh snows,
Under the sharp wind blowing in the dudu,
Run, stomp your boots
And shivering and shivering in the cold!

Let's listen to this cycle performed by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Russian Philharmonic". Soloist - Rodion Petrov. Excellent record.

P.I. Tchaikovsky Seasons. At the stove. January, Maslenitsa. February.

Frozen? It's time to warm up by the fire. The brilliant music of our great composer, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, will be performed by my beloved Denis Matsuev. Slightly sad, but very light, simple, but very expressive and very “Russian” theme of the play “At the Fireside. January "fills with tranquility. Let the wind and cold outside the window, but the fireplace (this, by the way, is the Russian analogue of the fireplace) is so good, so “protected”.

Quiet thoughtfulness is replaced by the valiant prowess of the next play “Shrovetide. February". Now, “walk, walk like that” - again, the Russian spirit, even in such a chamber work Tchaikovsky managed to convey it. You can hear the ringing of bells, and the strumming of an accordion, and a dashing folk dance. So, we listen to Denis Matsuev. And thanks to him, for such a height of performance.

P.I. Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker. Dance of the Dragee Fairy.

And a little more music by P.I. Tchaikovsky. A fabulous Christmas mood "covers" literally from the first sounds of the "Dance of the Dragee Fairy". As if a persistent association has already been laid in the subconscious: “The Nutcracker” is Christmas.

Georgy Sviridov "Waltz" from musical illustrations to the story by A.S. Pushkin "Snowstorm".

Georgy Vasilyevich Sviridov is a composer beloved by many. It's a pity that his music was not accepted in the West for a long time. And his music is very Russian, touches with deep spirituality and expressive simplicity. Listening to an elegant and, at the same time, solemn waltz from musical illustrations for Pushkin's story "The Snowstorm", you imagine that you are at a festive ball. The soul soars joyfully, overflowing with a premonition of love and happiness ... Oh, now it would be true to the ball - carriages, lights, crinolines, brilliant gentlemen ...
Let's close our eyes and let our souls go free.

Richard Clayderman Love Song in Winter

Now let's move on to a slightly different winter mood. And it will be already France with a wonderful musician, whom many of you probably know. When we are overwhelmed with feelings, even the most joyful ones, this moment probably cannot last long. A quiet melody will sound, and a slight sadness will come. It hurts the soul, but it's a sweet pain ...

How much I love these melodies by the French composer Richard Clayderman. Great master of romance. It is no coincidence that he is called the "Prince of Romance". Isn't it great to be such a prince? His repertoire is so extensive. Here you can meet both classical and light jazz. Words are superfluous here, such music is like love itself ... let's dive into a wonderful winter fairy tale.

And now, Alexander Rosenbaum, beloved by everyone, will give us a winter mood.

Alexander Rosenbaum. Winter.

It is impossible to live without love, it is cold, as if the soul is powdered with snow. Alexander Rosenbaum - about winter and love:

Ah, winter, you are mine, winter!
And I pray for a ray of sunshine.
Snow caps on houses
And the water in the well froze.
But your hot lips
No matter the freezing cold.
Winter with me crazy
Reduce your gaze and warm voice.

Sincerely, simply, warmly so. A song that makes you feel softer and warmer.

Sergei Chekalin. Snow fell.

Albano and Romina Power Stille Nacht Silent Night.

Something we quite deepened into the lyrics. But winter time is good because there is a place and time for everything - to take a walk, and dream, and allow yourself excesses, and think about your soul. I want to return with you to the festive Christmas atmosphere, and at the same time, wish everyone, my dear, health, love and good luck. Let the soul be warm even in the most severe winter cold. And we have the Italians. And everyone's favorite, of course.

Albano and Romina Power perform the Christmas song Stille Nacht ("Silent Night"). It sounds in German, which is considered quite harsh and uncomfortable to sing, but Italians are Italians... Soft, enveloping vocals immerse us in the same Christmas expectation of a miracle. A fairy tale and a holiday are with us again.

I love Albano very much, like many Italians. It is always sincerity, lyrics, simplicity, melody. Something that always touches...

For those who are interested in Albano's work, I have two articles on the blog dedicated to the Italian singer. This article and the continuation of our conversation with the girl Oksana Lapteva from Kirov, who fulfilled her dream and met with a great musician, can be read.

Andrea Bocelli White Christmas White Christmas.

I could not pass by another Italian - the amazing vocalist Andrea Bocelli. An exceptionally talented, subtle musician with a magical voice. Andrea lost his sight at the age of 12, but this did not prevent him from achieving success and winning the hearts of millions of listeners and, especially, listeners all over the world. Deep respect and awe of the soul when you listen to this musician. Let's listen to the beautiful Christmas song White Christmas ("White Christmas") performed by Andrea Bocelli.

"Fragrances of happiness" give you a New Year and Christmas mood.

Dear readers, of course, there is a lot of New Year and Christmas music. But within the framework of one article it is impossible to tell about everything you love.

Nimble Rabbit Online store of plus size evening dresses. Women's clothing. Beautiful, stylish, fashionable, original. Excellent quality. Feel like a queen!http://smart-lapin.ru

At the end of the article, I want to congratulate all of you on my own behalf and on behalf of our entire editorial staff of the Aromas of Happiness magazine on the holiday. The video was made by my friend Elena Kartavtseva, embodying my ideas and wishes.

One of my favorite songs is "Snow is spinning". It was she who I used in the video "New Year's greetings from the editors of the magazine" Fragrances of Happiness ".

I once again give you our winter fragrances along with this song. And my wishes for you...

“LET A MIRACLE SUDDENLY HAPPEN AND LIFE BECOME WARM LOVE WARM!” Merry Christmas everyone!

Everyone wants to diversify their table. In this regard, the rich flavor properties of pomegranate juice are unparalleled. Pomegranate juice is both tart and sweet, while the ruby color is appetizing and uplifting.

We listen to beautiful winter music and remember its history.

DANCE OF THE FAIRY DRAGEES FROM THE NUTCRACKER BALLET

Pyotr Tchaikovsky completed the music for the ballet The Nutcracker in December 1892. At the same time, the premiere took place in Mariinsky . In The Nutcracker, for the first time on the Russian stage, the celesta sounded - the youngest percussion and keyboard musical instrument, invented 6 years earlier by the Frenchman Auguste Mustel. Tchaikovsky, captivated by the delicate sound of the celesta, personally brought it from Paris. It was perfect for a musical Christmas story. Celesta sounded in the dance of the Dragee Fairy - the refined mistress of sweets in Confitenburg. The crystal chimes and the airy dance of the Italian Antonietta Del-era conveyed both the charm and the fragility of the fairy-tale world.

POLONEZIS FROM THE OPERA "THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS"

Opera "The Night Before Christmas" Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov created in 1895. The composer wrote the libretto for "there were carols" himself - based on the story of the same name Nikolai Gogol . He introduced a lot of fantastic and pagan into the plot:“The fascination with myths and combining them with Gogol’s story is, of course, my mistake, but this mistake made it possible to write a lot of interesting music”. The Night Before Christmas premiered at the Mariinsky Theater in December 1895.

Polonaise with a choir in the opera sounds when Vakula arrives at the royal palace. The pathetic music contrasts with other melodies of the opera - carols based on folk motifs, the elegant "Dance of the Stars" and the soulful arias of Oksana and Vakula. After all, a festive ball is taking place in the palace - courtiers in magnificent dresses and wigs perform a ceremonial dance.

WALTZ FROM THE OPERA "Christmas Tree"

Opera "Yolka" Vladimir Rebikov conceived to write in the early 1900s. Her libretto was based on two works - "The Little Match Girl" Hans Christian Andersen and a Christmas story Fyodor Dostoyevsky "Christ's boy on the Christmas tree." Their plots are similar: a child from a poor family does not find shelter on a festive evening and, as a result, freezes on an icy street.

The opera by Vladimir Rebikov was a great success: it was staged many times in Russia and abroad. The most famous melody from "Christmas Tree" was the climactic waltz. The main character heard touching and sad music during her enchanting visions, after which she no longer woke up.

THE SONG "A CHRISTMAS BORN IN THE FOREST"

The text of the popular children's song was written by the Russian poetess Raisa Kudasheva in 1903. For the first time, the poem was published in the December issue of the Malyutka magazine - it was published in St. Petersburg. A few years later, the agronomist Leonid Beckman created music for the words. He composed it for his little daughter, and since the scientist did not know musical literacy, his wife recorded the melody.

"Herringbone" has gone through several births. In the 1900s, it became a very popular Christmas song, and it was sung at home holidays, in gymnasiums, and in orphanages. V World War I when Christmas noted with restraint, the melody was a little forgotten. After the revolution, the anthem of the religious holiday was completely banned. "Yolochka" returned to the third generation of Soviet children - in the 1930s - and became not a Christmas, but a New Year's song.

The song "A Christmas tree was born in the forest." Words by Raisa Kudasheva, music by Leonid Beckman

SONG "FIVE MINUTES" FROM THE FILM "CARNIVAL NIGHT"

The fervent song about the last five minutes of the outgoing year is already 60 years old. In 1956, the whole country listened to her: a film"Carnival Night" by Eldar Ryazanov almost 50 million Soviet viewers watched, and the melody itself sounded from every radio. It remains one of the song traditions of the New Year even today.

The music for "Five Minutes" was written by the composer Anatoly Lepin, and the words by Vladimir Livshits. In the film, the song of Lenochka Krylova - the heroine Gurchenko - lasted five minutes and ended with the chimes. A decoration was made specially for the performance: a huge alarm clock, on the sides of which there were musicians from the orchestra. "Carnival" clocks also became a New Year's trend for many years - bright Christmas decorations - "no five minutes" soon appeared in every Soviet home.

The song "Five Minutes" from the movie "Carnival Night" (1956). Words by Vladimir Livshits, music by Anatoly Lepin

WALTZ FROM THE FILM "METEL"

Music for the film "Snowstorm" based on the same name short stories by Alexander Pushkin Georgy Sviridov wrote in 1964. Waltz and "Troika", "Military March" and "Wedding" were performed on the radio, put on television programs. 10 years after the film was released, Sviridov edited the score. It became an independent work - “Musical illustrations for the story of A.S. Pushkin "Snowstorm".

At the same time solemn and gentle, the waltz sounds at the very beginning of the film, during the ball. Here the main character - Marya Gavrilovna - for the first time, albeit briefly, saw the one with whom she was to marry by mistake. The muted motives of this melody are heard by the audience at the end of the film, when the characters miraculously meet again and recognize each other.

The film "Sorcerers" according to the script brothers Strugatsky Konstantin Bromberg filmed in 1982. It was shown on television on the last day of the outgoing year. The music for the film was written by Evgeny Krylatov, and the lyrics were written by Leonid Derbenev. Later, all the compositions on one disc were released by firm "Melody".

One of the musical symbols of the New Year was the "Song of the Snowflake", or "Snowflake", from the movie "Magicians". Olga Rozhdestvenskaya sang a song about how to correctly make a wish at magical midnight with the Good Fellows vocal and instrumental ensemble.
